ULAN BATOR, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping said here Friday that China is willing to provide opportunity and space of common development for neighboring countries including Mongolia and welcomes them to "board China's train of development".
Xi made the remarks when delivering a speech at the State Great Hural of Mongolia, the country's parliament, during his two-day visit to Mongolia.
It is the first visit in 11 years by a Chinese head of state to Mongolia, and also the second time for Xi to make a one-country foreign trip since he took office in March 2013.
China, Mongolia upgrade ties to comprehensive strategic partnership
ULAN BATOR, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Mongolian counterpart, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, signed a joint declaration here Thursday to upgrade bilateral ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
The two sides noted that the upgrading is based on high-level mutual trust, a common aspiration for closer ties of mutual benefit, and a shared wish to stay forever as good neighbors, good partners and good friends that are mutually trustworthy and responsible. Full story

ULAN BATOR, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- China and Mongolia on Thursday agreed to lift their relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership and pledged to further strengthen their traditional friendly cooperation.
In a joint declaration signed by visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Mongolian counterpart, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, the two sides reiterated their commitment to developing their traditional friendship on the basis of the principles of stability, mutual benefit and mutual respect. ULAN BATOR, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- China and Mongolia are seeking to build stronger economic links by boosting trade, expanding practical cooperation, and facilitating cargo transportation for landlocked Mongolia.

China is set to invite 100 Mongolian youths per year to visit China during the five years starting 2015, while 50 Chinese youths will visit Mongolia annually under the same program, said a joint declaration signed here by visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Mongolian counterpart, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj.
