Chinese discipline official prosecuted for taking bribes

BEIJING, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- A discipline official from north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has been prosecuted for allegedly taking bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said on Monday.

Shen Jia was director of the office responsible for case hearings under the Inner Mongolia regional commission for discipline inspection of the Communist Party of China, according to a statement on the SPP website.
