Chinese FM to attend SCO meeting

BEIJING, July 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will attend a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tajikistan this week, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said Monday.

Wang will also pay an official visit to Tajikistan, Egypt and the League of Arab States headquarters, at the invitation of his Tajikistani counterpart Sirojidin Aslov, Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry and Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Nabil El-Arabi, respectively, spokesman Qin Gang said.

The entire trip will run from July 30 through August 4.
