Chinese FM offers condolences over Malaysian airliner crash

BEIJING, July 20 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Sunday sent messages of condolences to Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman and Dutch Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans over the crash of a Malaysian passenger plane in eastern Ukraine.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, a Boeing 777-200 jet airliner, crashed in eastern Ukraine Thursday en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, leaving all the 298 people aboard dead, including 193 Dutch passengers.
