SW China official dismissed for suspected discipline violation

BEIJING, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Zhang Tianxin was removed from his post as a member of both Yunnan provincial Communist Party of China (CPC) Committee and Standing Committee, for suspected violation of disciplines, the CPC Central Commission for Discipline and Inspection (CCDI) said on Saturday.

Zhang was formerly the Party secretary of Kunming, capital city of the southwestern Yunnan Province.
