WUHAN, April 7 (Xinhua) -- A direct air route between Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, and Bali, a resort in Indonesia, will open on April 23, announced provincial tourism authorities on Monday.
An Airbus A320-200 will leave Wuhan at 11 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the chartered seven-hour flight and return from Bali the following day, according to the Hubei Provincial Tourism Commission.
Carried by Xpress Air of Indonesia, this is the first direct flight from central China to Bali. It will greatly cut tourists' expenses and travel time compared to transit trips.
Chinese citizens can get a visa upon landing in Bali with a passport in hand.
