Chinese air force sends aircraft for plane search

BEIJING, March 11 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese air force sent two military aircraft on Tuesday to reinforce the search for the missing Beijing-bound Malaysian plane, according to the Ministry of National Defense.

The aircraft set off from south China's Sanya City in Hainan Province for waters where the plane lost contact.
