China to set victory day of anti-Japanese war

BEIJING, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislature is considering designating September 3 as the Victory Day of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, it announced Tuesday.

The draft decision will be discussed at the bi-monthly session of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress which runs from Tuesday through Thursday.
