Chinese FM visits Iraq on regional issues

BAGHDAD, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Baghdad Sunday morning for an official visit to Iraq at the invitation of his Iraqi counterpart Hoshyar Zebari.

During the visit, Wang will hold talks with Zebari to exchange views on China-Iraq relations as well as Iraqi and regional issues.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Iraqi Council of Representatives Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi will meet Wang during his stay in Iraq.
