MELBOURNE, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- China's fourth seed Li Na beat Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia 7-6 (7-3), 6-0 to win her first Australian Open women's singles title here on Saturday.
Both players broke each other twice and forced a tiebreak in the first set. Mini-breaks exchanged in the tiebreak before Li served out to win the first set.
Cibulkova failed to keep her serve games in the second set and Li used only 27 minutes to thrash her opponent 6-0 and won the final.
The champion is Li's second Grand Slam title as she won her first in the 2011 French Open.
