BEIJING, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu will pay official visits to Slovakia and Switzerland and attend agricultural meetings in Rome from Feb. 12 to 20, a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said Thursday.
Hui is making the visits at the invitation of Kanayo F. Nwanze, president of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Didier Burkhalter, Swiss vice-president of the Confederation and head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and Lajcak, deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs of the Slovak Republic, according to spokeswoman Hua Chunying.
During his time in Rome, Hui will attend the 36th Governing Council of the IFAD and an agricultural cooperation round-table meeting between China and the six south European countries of Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus and Malta, Hua said.
