BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Sun Chunlan has been appointed secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Tianjin Municipal Committee, replacing Zhang Gaoli, according to a decision made by the CPC Central Committee.
Sun, 62, will no longer hold the post as secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, according to the decision.
Zhang, born in November 1946, has been elected a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
