BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo met with former White House Assistant for National Security Affairs Stephen Hadley, former Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg and former Assistant Secretary of Defense Joseph Nye on Tuesday.
A press release from the Foreign Ministry said both sides exchanged views on Sino-U.S. ties and issues of common concern.
The officials were invited to China by the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
