Premier says China's economic growth stablizing

BEIJING, Oct.17 (Xinhua) -- China's economic growth has started to stabilize and witness positive changes with economy running well in the third quarter, said Premier Wen Jiabao.

China's economy will continue to stabilize as government policies get further implemented, said Wen, expressing confidence in economy while discussing the current economic condition with representatives of industrial experts, enterprise owners and economists.

The discussions were held on Friday, Saturday and Monday.

China still faces considerable difficulty in the last quarter, but the government is confident to achieve the full-year economic and social development goals through hard work and efforts, said Wen.
