SHIJIAZHUANG, Sept 25 (Xinhua) -- The 2012 National Doctoral Academic Forum on Military Science was inaugurated in Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital of north China's Hebei Province, on Tuesday.
The forum was attended by almost 200 military experts, scholars and doctoral candidates from 22 educational institutions known for fostering doctors in the study of military science.
With a general theme of "Building Combat Capabilities in the Information Era," the event was divided into seven sub-forums designed for those with different interests.
The topics of these sub-forums were "War and Strategy," "Battle Tactics," "Commanding Armies," "Political and Ideological Work in the Army," "Army Logistics and Equipment," "Military Training," and "Non-war Military Actions."
