BEIJING, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- Another earthquake measuring 5.6 jolted the border area of southwest China's Yiliang county of Yunnan Province and Weining county of Guizhou Province at 12:16 p.m. Friday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of about 14 km, was at 27.6 degrees north latitude and 104.0 degrees east longitude.
A 5.7-magnitude quake jolted this area earlier at 11:19 a.m. Beijing Time.
