BEIJING, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- Senior Chinese legislator Chen Zhili left Beijing on Sunday morning for a visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK), Ukraine and Bulgaria.
Chen, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislative body, will attend the seventh meeting of regular exchanges between the NPC and the ROK National Assembly during her stay in the country.
She will also pay a good-will visit to Ukraine and Bulgaria.
Chen and the NPC delegation were invited to make the trips by the ROK National Assembly, Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada, the country's parliament, and the National Assembly of Bulgaria.
