CHICAGO, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities closed lower on Friday with all three major commodities falling.

The most active corn contract for March delivery lost 4.5 cents, or 1.15 percent, to close at 3.8525 U.S. dollars per bushel. Soybeans for May delivery fell 9 cents, or 0.89 percent, to close at 10.0225 dollars per bushel. Wheat for May delivery lost 12.5 cents, or 2.41 percent, to close at 5.07 dollars per bushel.

The USDA Export Inspections report release on Friday shows that through the week ending Feb. 12, U.S. exporters sold less-than- expected corn, wheat and soybeans, analysts said this put pressure on commodities because they are below the analysts' forecasts. For corn and soybean futures, analysts said they weighed down by a round of end-of-week profit taking following solid gains on Thursday.
