TOKYO, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 119 yen range early Thursday in Tokyo deals, little changed from its overnight levels in New York.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 119.29-30 yen compared with 119.20-30 yen in New York and 119.04-05 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The euro fetched 1.1833-1834 dollars and 141.16-17 yen against 1.1834-1844 dollars and 141.12-22 yen in New York and 1.1886-1888 dollars and 141.49-53 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon.
