TOKYO, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands at the mid-119 yen level early Tuesday in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 119.42-53 yen compared with 119.58-68 yen in New York and 120.38-39 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.
The euro fetched 1.1937-1938 dollars and 142.56-57 yen against 1.1927-1937 dollars and 142.69-79 yen in New York and 1.1954-1956 dollars and 143.91-95 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
