MUMBAI, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- Indian stocks market benchmark BSE Sensex opened flat on Friday tracking muted trend seen in other Asian markets.
The 30-share index opened at 27,215.19, just 6.58 points up from last closing of 27,208.61 points.
Since the beginning of this year, the Sensex has gained 29.43 percent, while foreign institutional investors have bought USD 42. 65 billion from local equity and bond markets.
