TOKYO, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 120 yen range on Friday morning in Tokyo deals, slightly higher from its previous day levels in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 120.40-42 yen compared with 120.09-12 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday. Financial markets in New York were closed Thursday for Christmas Day.
The euro fetched 1.2208-2210 dollars and 146.98-147.02 yen against 1.2227-2230 dollars and 146.86-90 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
