PARIS, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- The French stock market benchmark index CAC40 gained an advance of 1.42 percent to close at 4,314.97 points on Wednesday, up 60.54 points.
By closing, all of the 40 selected companies gained advance.
The top three gainers of Wednesday were Technip, up 3.04 percent, Solvay, up 2.79 percent,and Carrefour, up 2.55 percent.
In previous trading day, the CAC 40 experienced a slight advance of 0.30 percent, or 12.78 points, to close at 4,254.43 points.
