MUMBAI, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Indian stocks surged by nearly 250 points Thursday with the BSE benchmark index Sensex closing at 27, 346.33, 248.16 points or 0.92 percent up from the previous close of 27,098.17 points.
The IT stocks gained most from the market while all others went green in the trade.
The Sensex has been on an upswing trend over the past several sessions.
