TOKYO, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 109 yen zone early Monday in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 109.39-43 yen compared with 109.24-34 yen in New York and 108.96-98 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.
The euro fetched 1.2675-2675 dollars and 138.64-67 yen against 1.2684-2694 dollars and 138.52-62 yen in New York and 1.2746-2748 dollars and 138.88-92 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
