SEOUL, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Seoul shares ended higher on Friday.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 6. 08 points, or 0.30 percent, to close at 2,053.82. Trading volume stood at 375.52 million shares worth 4.81 trillion won (4.6 billion U.S. dollars).
The South Korean currency finished at 1,044.6 won against the greenback, down 1.2 won from Thursday's close.
