SINGAPORE, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 25.92 points, or 0.8 percent, to close at 3,283.93.
A total of 2.11 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 34 billion Singapore dollars (1.06 billion U.S. dollars).
Gainers outnumbered decliners 321 to 132, while 490 others finished unchanged.
The STI index lost 19.52 points, or 0.6 percent, to close at 3, 258.01 on Wednesday.
