SINGAPORE, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished almost flat on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 0.60 points, or 0.02 percent, to close at 3,253.80.
A total of 1.82 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 22 billion Singapore dollars (976 million U.S. dollars).
Gainers led losers 235 to 202, while 505 others finished unchanged.
The STI index gained 6.88 points, or 0.21 percent, to close at 3,253.20 on Wednesday.
