TIRANA, April 5 (Xinhua) -- Albania is set to auction 15.8 billion Albanian leks (155 million U.S. dollars) in six-month and 12-month Treasury bills (T-bills) on April 8, according to the country's finance ministry.
Among them are 10.2 billion leks of one-year T-bills and 5.6 billion leks of bonds with six months' maturity.
The Albanian Ministry of Finance is using the funding of internal market in order to repay liabilities toward the private business.
On March 11, Albania sold 4.0 billion leks of six-month government bonds at an average weighted yield of 3.40 percent. The government last auctioned 10 billion leks of 12-month T-bills at an average weighted yield of 3.64 percent on March 25.
