TIRANA, April 4 (Xinhua) -- The loan agreement between Albania and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which will provide Albania a loan of 330 million euros (452 million U.S. dollars) in very favorable conditions, was approved by Albanian parliament.

The deal was endorsed at Friday's plenary session, according to Albanian Telegraphic Agency.

Minister of Finance Shkelqim Cani said at the plenary session that there would be no tax raises and no pay and pension cut with the agreement.

Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Thursday that the loan provided by IMF guarantees economic growth and it is not based on austerity measures.
