MUMBAI, April 4 (Xinhua) -- The benchmark index of the Indian equities market opened higher on Friday with the 30-scrip sensitive index of the Bombay Stock Exchange, Sensex, opening at 22,522.46 points, 13.39 points 0.06 percent higher from the previous close of 22,509.07 points.
