BRUSSELS, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Annual inflation in the 17-nation eurozone increased to 0.9 percent in November, up from 0.7 percent in October, European Union (EU) statistics office Eurostat said Tuesday.

In November, the annual inflation in the EU was 1 percent, up from 0.9 percent in October. The lowest annual rates were observed in Greece, at minus 2.9 percent, and the highest, of 2.1 percent, was in Estonia.

The largest upward impact on eurozone annual inflation came from electricity, accommodation services and tobacco, while fuels for transport, telecommunications and heating oil had the biggest downward impacts, Eurostat said.
