TOKYO, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Japan's core machinery orders in June declined a seasonally adjusted 2.7 percent compared with the previous month to 777.4 billion yen (about 7.99 U.S. dollars), the government said Tuesday.

It marks the first down in two months, while the data is usually read as an indicator for future capital spending by companies.
