TOKYO, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Nikkei ended 0.68 percent higher Friday on a weaker yen.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 76.81 points, or 0.68 percent, from Thursday to 11,385.94.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 0.62 point, or 0.06 percent, at 963.48.
Gainers were led by paper, services and food companies, while decliners included insurance, wholesale and glass shares.
The turnover was about 2,080.7 billion yen (about 22.32 billion U.S. dollars).
