Loans the order on the day in Spain on transfer deadline day

MADRID, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Transfer deadline day has seen frantic last day dealing in Spain with many clubs looking to add extra depth to their squads for the run in to the end of the season.

Granada, who on Wednesday named Lucas Alcaraz as their new coach, have signed Diego Buonanotte on a four and a half year deal. The attacking midfielder makes the short trip from Granada after a disappointing 18 months with nearby Malaga.

Malaga have replaced Buonanotte with Chilean midfielder, Pedro Morales, who arrives on loan for the rest of the season.

With money a premium in Spain at the moment, the majority of the transfers taking place are loans, such as those which take central defender Loukas Vyntra and Italian striker Robert Acquafresca to Levante until the end of June.

Valladolid have brought in Kosovan born winger Valdet Rama on loan until the end of the campaign, although they have an option to reach a permanent deal with the player who joins from Swedish club, Orebro.

Zaragoza are another club using the loan market and have signed former Sevilla, Barca B and Sheffield Wednesday striker, Rodri until the end of the season, although they too have an option to add another year onto the deal.

Meanwhile Colombian striker Dorlan Mauricio Pabon has arrived in Seville with a view to helping Betis' push for a Champions League place next season. It's perhaps no surprise to add that he too will arrive on loan.
