TOKYO, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Japanese government Friday downgraded the economic situation assessment for the fourth straight month in the monthly economic report of November.
Japan's economy "shows weakness recently due to deceleration of the world economy," said the report, adding that the exports to Europe, the U.S. and Asian countries remain "sluggish" due to the global economic slowdown.
The government's assessment for Japanese economy was "in a weak tone" in October.
According to the report, the weak situation of Japanese economic will last for a long period.
