CAIRO, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- A Cairo court resumed Wednesday the trial of Egypt's ousted Islamist president Mohamed Morsi and 14 Muslim Brotherhood members over charges of inciting the killing of protesters outside the presidential palace in December 2012, state TV reported.

Egypt adjourns Morsi's trial on killing protesters until Feb. 4

CAIRO, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- The trial of Egypt's ousted president Mohamed Morsi on charges of inciting violence and killing protesters has been adjourned by Cairo Criminal Court until Feb. 4, state TV reported Saturday.

The defense team asked the court to adjourn the trial to further study the documents of the case, the report said. Full story

Egypt's Morsi trial over jailbreak kicks off: state TV

CAIRO, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- The trial of Egypt's ousted president Mohamed Morsi and 130 others over charges of 2011 jailbreak kicked off in Cairo on Tuesday, state TV reported.

Official news agency MENA reported that Morsi was flown by a helicopter from Borg al-Arab prison in Alexandria to the headquarters of the Police Academy in Cairo where the trial is taking place. Full story
