CAIRO, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- The Cairo Criminal Court on Saturday ordered death sentence for 21 defendants over Port Said massacre which killed more than 70 in February last year.
Seventy-three defendants, including nine top security officials, were arrested after a tragedy clash at Port Said Stadium during a match between Port Said's al-Masry and Cairo's al-Ahly soccer teams.
The final decision over the other defendants will be announced on Mar. 9, said the judge, who asked the people in the court to keep silence after shouting "save Egypt."
