TEGUCIGALPA, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Honduras' Supreme Electoral Court (TSE) declared on Sunday that President Juan Orlando Hernandez was the winner of the elections on Nov. 26, and will serve a second term in office after defeating Salvador Nasralla from the Opposition Alliance.

Hernandez of the ruling National Party obtained 42.95 percent of the vote, with Nasralla gaining 41.42 percent, said David Matamoros, the TSE president, in an official statement.
