Bridges under construction to replace ferries, ziplines in SW China

The Fengjiaping bridge is under construction across the Jinsha River to replace a zipline at Fengjiaping Village of Butuo County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, Dec. 13, 2017. Sichuan has been building bridges to replace ferries and ziplines. The province has reduced the number of ferries to 1,169 by the end of 2017 from 1,951 in 2010 and that of ziplines to only three from 77. (Xinhua/Jiang Hongjing)
