SANYA, China, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Italian team of Margherita Porro won the girl's 29er at thte 2017 Youth Sailing World Championships on Thursday.
After a total of 12 rounds of competitions, the Italian team collected 26 points to secure the title. "It's still hard to believe that we made it," said the Italian girls.
"This is definitely an amazing week, especially the first day which we got a three-game winning streak," Margherita said.
The 2017 Youth Sailing World Championships will conclude in Serenity Coast of Sanya on Friday.
