CHANGCHUN, China, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Shanghai beat Jilin 114-110 to end their four winless streak in the 14th round of the 2017-2018 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Sunday night.
The game opened with a 4-4 tie before Jilin took the lead at 26-22. The visiting Shanghai overtook the lead at 61-56 with Nick Minnerath's consecutive scoring in the second quarter. Jilin managed to cut the deficit and made the score roughly the same in the last period. But Luo Han chen lay up the shot for Shanghai to seal the victory at 114-110.
Carl Landry scored 21 points and 6 rebounds while Von Waver collected 20 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for Jilin. Cui Jinming scored a team-high 25 points, Gao Shiyan contributed 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Dai Huaibo got 20 points and 9 rebounds.
Jimmer Fredette led Shanghai with 50 points and 12 rebounds. Nick Minnerath pocketed 33 points and 8 rebounds. Luo Hanchen had 17 points.
