BEIJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) --China's top anti-graft authority Wednesday stressed its willingness to work with the international community to fight corruption and recover illegal earnings.
"China wants to act with all parties to establish new orders in global anti-corruption fight and make new contributions to build a community with a shared future for mankind," said an official with the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) at a reception in Beijing.
The CCDI held the reception to introduce the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and China's anti-corruption work to 156 foreign representatives from 122 countries and international organizations.
The CCDI reaffirmed the CPC's determination, noting that the country would continue to ensure there were "no no-go zones, no ground is left unturned, and no tolerance is shown for corruption."
"We will impose tight constraints, maintain a tough stance and a long-term deterrence, punish both those who take bribes and those who offer them, and intensify efforts to address both the symptoms and root causes of corruption, in order to ensure the long-term stability of the Party and the country," the CCDI said.
Victor Sikonina, Madagascan ambassador to China, said that China had brought its own experience in fighting corruption to the world, and the Belt and Road Initiative provided new opportunities in global anti-graft cooperation.
It will be the 14th International Anti-Corruption Day Saturday, as designated by the United Nations General Assembly.
