BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has cancelled its flights to and from Bali following the temporary closure of the Ngurah Rai International Airport after the eruption of Mount Agung that caused limited visibility for flight operations.
According to a statement from the RB, the national carrier of Brunei informed that it has cancelled Tuesday's flight from Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) to Bali and Wednesday's service from Bali to the BSB.
The RB also had cancelled its flights to and from the BSB on Sunday.
Flights to Bali were cancelled as Indonesian authorities closed the island's airport and raised the alert on Mount Agung volcano to the highest level, amid fears a significant eruption could be imminent.
"The safety of our flights and guests is a priority for the RB and our team is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates when available," the airline said.
