DOHA, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Qatari Chamber and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Chamber of Industry and Commerce have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost cooperation, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported Wednesday.

The agreement was signed in the attendance of the Vice Chairman of Qatari Chamber, Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Towar and the Minister of Economic Planning of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Camillo Gonsalves, on Tuesday evening.

Earlier, Gonsalves and Qatar Minister of Culture Salah bin Ghanem al Ali have signed an agreement to promote cultural exchange.

On June 5, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates cut their diplomatic ties with Qatar and imposed economic sanctions on the tiny gas-rich nation, accusing Doha of supporting terrorism and extremism, which the latter has long denied.

Since the Saudi-led blockade, Qatar has been finding alternative markets to import goods and services from.
