Direct flight to link central Chinese city and London

WUHAN, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- A direct air route will be launched between Wuhan city in central China's Hubei Province and London by China Southern Airlines in January 2018, Hubei airport group announced on Tuesday.

It will be the sixth international air route for Wuhan, following flights to Paris, Moscow, San Francisco, Rome and Sydney.

Ticket selling is expected to begin at the end of this year, according to the group.

The air route is expected to help more Chinese tourists travel to Europe and the United States.
