Dollar hovers in mid-112 yen zone in cautious trade

TOKYO, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar stayed in the mid-112 yen zone on Tuesday in Tokyo with market investors cautiously digest the U.S. decision to re-designate the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism.

At 5 p.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 112.56-57 yen compared with 112.57-67 yen in New York and 112.04-06 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. It moved between 112.43 yen and 112.70 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.1736-1737 dollars and 132.10-14 yen against 1.1727-1737 dollars and 132.14-24 yen in New York and 1.1753-1755 dollars and 131.68-72 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
