NEW DELHI -- At least three people were killed and 15 others feared trapped under the debris after a three-storey plastics factory collapsed in a massive fire in the northern Indian state of Punjab Monday, police said.

NAIROBI -- Kenya's Supreme Court on Monday upheld President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election in the repeated presidential vote last month, paving the way for his swearing-in next week.
The court's six judges determined that the two petitions against Kenyatta's re-election lack merit and therefore were dismissed, saying Kenyatta was validly elected.(Kenya-Supreme Court)

ISLAMABAD -- Twenty people were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Pakistan's southern province of Sindh on Monday morning, officials said.
Rai Mazhar Iqbal, assistant superintendent of police, said the accident took place when a truck loaded with coal fell at a passenger van near Shah Hussain area of Khairpur, a district in Sindh.(Pakistan-Road Accident)

COLOMBO -- Three people including two women died on Monday when their car crashed with a train carrying fuel at a level crossing in a town north of Colombo, local police said.
