TOKYO, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks extended losses Monday morning as investors were in a risk on mood after Wall Street's decline late last week and the yen firming against the U.S. dollar.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average dropped 125.45 points, or 0.56 percent, from Friday to 22,271.35.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, fell 5.99 points, or 0.34 percent, to 1,757.77.
Insurance, securities and marine transportation-linked issues comprised those that declined the most by the morning break.
