NEW YORK, NOV. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale jolted 58km NE of Nyingchi, China at 22:34:19 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 29.8347 degrees north latitude and 94.9092 degrees east longitude.
